So many parts of our lives we shared only in different places.

My art will never be the same as she encouraged me to put my heart into it and breathe my soul into my work. During one conversation about this I told her I would call my burns my "Heartwork" from now on and not 'artwork'.

Lynda will forever be a part of each piece of work I do.

As a person, she was a dear and wonderful friend! Our twin sons are about the same age and she was always teasing me wanting to send Jonathan my daughters photo. She loved her Allen more than life itself, and her boys were priceless to her. She spent her life giving to everyone else. That is what filled her up.

My life is richer for knowing her, emptier for losing her and fuller for sharing with her.

God is blessing her richly now!
Lisa Kinglisa kingnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7609333.post-1168378358953353022007-01-09T16:32:00.000-05:002007-01-09T16:32:00.000-05:00Lynda is the younger sister to myself and our olde...Lynda is the younger sister to myself and our older sister, Carol as well as older sister to our brother, Stephen. It goes deep that people appreciated her, as herself and for what she stood for with her talents. We miss her so much it hurts, it is surreal that she isn't here anymore - I can't hit her on the head (I'm taller than her, LOL). I simply can't believe it. The fact that we are in Alabama didn't help either - we weren't with her except in spirit. She didn't want anyone to see her as she was. My little sister - how unfair it is for her to be taken away from me, Carol, Stephen, and those that loved her when there are so many undeserving people in the world that should be gone. Thank you all for your thoughts. Lynda was one heck of a sister, we miss her terribly!Maureennoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7609333.post-1166837719647959272006-12-22T20:35:00.000-05:002006-12-22T20:35:00.000-05:00Lynda, Thank you for showing me theres so much mor...Lynda, Thank you for showing me theres so much more out there....in life as well as in woodburning. She put up a valient fight against all odds.

Lynda was a mentor to many...always sharing of herself. The time she spent offering critiques encouraged all of us to do our best. She may have left this world, but her spirit will continue to guide us in our work and our promotion of pyrography as an art.

I designed her website for her and then taught her how to maintain it and add to it. I really felt privileged to have done that for her. It will always remain a tribute to her memory. I will miss her deeply, but she will never be forgotten.

Our memories of Lynda and her artwork will endure the test of time. Rest in peace my dear friend.God Bless You and your family."Keep burning and learning"...hugs...DannieDanettehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06884304118184411898noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7609333.post-1166808778926540292006-12-22T12:32:00.000-05:002006-12-22T12:32:00.000-05:00Lynda, you will be missed and forever remembered. ...Lynda, you will be missed and forever remembered.
